The correct answer is B. The Port Harbor Bridge is a source of debate for the town of Port Harbor.

Explanation

Debate is a term that refers to a communication resource that focuses on the collation of different ideas or opinions on a certain topic. The objective of a debate is to present and argue an opinion on an issue to conclude. According to the above, the News Radio Program transcript presents the implicit message of a debate among the residents of Port Harbor, while some want to preserve the Port Harbor Bridge, others do not want to preserve it and each one presents their arguments as expressed in the next paragraph "Residents in the town of Port Harbor are divided over whether they should preserve the Port Harbor Bridge...Opponents argue that preserving the bridge will be too expensive." So, the correct answer is B. The Port Harbor Bridge is a source of debate for the town of Port Harbor.

Why might Atticus not want his kids to know about the rest of his family?
bulgar [2K]

Atticus did not want his children in court because he knew they would be exposed to the lies, deceit, and racism endemic to the society in which his family resided and because of the abuse that would invariably be heaped upon his children's father by virtue of his willingness to defend Tom Robinson.

which statement best explains the meaning the imagery in this excerpt conveys? A. it communicates the theme that injustice multi
seraphim [82]

Answer:

The correct answer is <u>B</u>: It communicates the idea that just because one cannot see decay or destruction occurring, that does not mean it isn't happening.

Explanation:

In this excerpt, Alan Paton tries to say that injustice and inequality are widely extended in South Africa, although we are not able to see it. He compares the destruction of South Africa with things that occur in nature, like leaf silently falling in the forest or white ants who are eating away the food. He wants to say that we shouldn't neglect things that are happening just because they occur in silence.

<em>Cry, the Beloved Country</em> is a novel written by South African writer Alan Paton, first time published in 1948. It tells a story about Stephen Kumalo, a black priest who goes to Johannesburg to find his son Absalom.

The key sentence is: "<span>We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts." This means that if the leaders continue to act like nothing is wrong, they will gradually become desensitized to their wrongdoings until they think their actions are right. no matter what.

The line "</span><span>I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery" may appear to be similar, but that is not talking about the issue itself yet, but just about the magnitude of it, or how serious the issue is that it needs an open discussion.</span>

How do you feel about the current climate (current affairs) in the United States?write 1 paragraph.
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

I feel like climate change is dangerous because storms, rising sea levels, heatwaves, cold waves, hurricanes, etc can hurt animals and us humans. For Example, heat can cause heat strokes and hot waters. Hot water can hurt the sea animals because hurts them and also destroy their homes. Climate change gets worse every year and there are ways to stop them. We just have to do our part. For Example, we can power our homes with renewable energy, better lightbulbs, and more! I think that climate change is a big thing and sometimes can't be controlled but it never hurts to try. Another example, high wave levels are super dangerous, the waves can hurt the animals and if waves get too high the waves can hurt our homes as well. Even if we humans can't feel when a storm is coming our dogs can sense barometric pressure changes. I hope you understand why I think climate change is dangerous.

Hope that helps! If needed you can change anything to make it sound more like you.
