One way to reduce uncertainty is to increase the number of specific and general environmental forces that are interconnected. Be
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

 • The environment is dynamic whole understanding it imparts is quite essential as to reduce the uncertainties one does not need to increase the flow of general environment and specific forces.
 • This may create a reverse loop in the system and create hindrances in the environmental settings. As the environment is likely to create opportunities for the growth and development of man and his surroundings.
 • Because if one creates a positive change does not necessarily mean that the change may be positive such as a rise in temperature in summer or the reaction of the body etc. Taking the example of climate change that is the biggest system on earth is due to the man's impact on earth which has reacted to him.

Identify the four types of seismic waves. How do each of these waves behave as they travel through the Earth?
Oksana_A [137]

Compressional or P (for primary) , Transverse or S (for secondary) , Love, and Rayleigh. Primary waves push and pull the ground in the direction the wave is traveling. Secondary waves travel in the same direction, but they shake the ground back and forth perpendicular to the direction the wave is traveling. Love waves move back and forth horizontally. Rayleigh waves cause both vertical and horizontal ground motion.

The height of a right circular cone is multiplied by 3, but its radius remains fixed. By what factor will the volume of the cone
Orlov [11]

Answer:

A. 3

Explanation:

A cone is a three dimensional shape with a flat base and curved surface. A right circular cone is a cone where the axis of the cone is the line meeting the vertex to the midpoint of the circular base.

The volume of a right circular cone = πr²h/3; where r is the radius of the cone and h is the height of the cone.

Let us assume the cone has a height of h, and radius of r. Hence:

Volume (V₁) = πr²h/3

If the radius remains fixed and the height is multiplied by 3. Hence:

V₂ = πr²(3h)/3 = πr²h = 3V₁

The volume would be multiplied by 3
