On May 26th, 1969, Apollo 11 lifted off for its voyage to the moon. Just recently, Space X has had its first successful take-off

and landing of a rocket ship in hopes of planetary travel. Do you think we will ever live on the moon? Why or why not? Would you like to live there? Please write 7 sentences.

I think human civilization will never inhabit the moon. This is because the moon has a very weak atmosphere unlike the earth which has a more tough atmosphere. Atmosphere is essential for human life. Another reason I don’t think humans could survive on the moon is that the moon is about 1/4 the size of earth. Earth is already largely populated, so trying to fit 7 billion people on the moon would cause for mass overpopulation. Lastly the moon doesn’t have active water sources. Water is very essential for human life. We’d be setting up shop in a venerable desert, a lunar colony would need to secure some kind of water source. The moon is inhabitable for human life.
