A triangle is always 180 degrees so if we add 127+20 we’d get 147. 180-147 is 33 degrees. the missing angle is 33

Answer: 1) 8x + 2 = 90 1a. 11 2. 13x-10= 133 2a. 11

Both solve for 11.

Step-by-step explanation: 1) they’re both the same measure so they equal each other

Subtract 2 from each side 8x = 88 and x is 11

13x - 10 = 133 they’re both the same measures so they equal each other.

Add 10 to both sides because it’s already negative and 13x = 143 and you get 11

Explain how to write a quadratic equation given the following three points on the graph (5,31) (3,11) (0,11)
masha68 [24]

Given:

The graph of a quadratic function passes through the points (5,31) (3,11) (0,11).

To find:

The equation of the quadratic function.

Solution:

A quadratic function is defined as:

y=ax^2+bx+c            ...(i)

It is passes through the point (0,11). So, substitute x=0,y=11 in (i).

11=a(0)^2+b(0)+c

11=c

Putting c=11 in (i), we get

y=ax^2+bx+11               ...(ii)

The quadratic function passes through the point (5,31). So, substitute x=5,y=31 in (ii).

31=a(5)^2+b(5)+11

31-11=a(25)+5b

20=25a+5b

Divide both sides by 5.

4=5a+b                  ...(iii)

The quadratic function passes through the point (3,11). So, substitute x=3,y=11 in (ii).

11=a(3)^2+b(3)+11

11-11=a(9)+3b

0=9a+3b

Divide both sides by 3.

0=3a+b                 ...(iv)

Subtracting (iv) from (iii), we get

4-0=5a+b-3a-b

4=2a

\dfrac{4}{2}=a

2=a

Putting a=2 in (iv), we get

0=3(2)+b

0=6+b

-6=b

Putting a=2,b=-6 in (ii), we get

y=(2)x^2+(-6)x+11

y=2x^2-6x+11

Therefore, the required quadratic equation is y=2x^2-6x+11.

The length of a rectangular field is 7 m less than 4times the width. The perimeter is 136 m. Find thewidth and the length of the
OlgaM077 [116]

Length (L): 4w - 7

width (w): w

Perimeter (P) = 2L + 2w

               136 = 2(4w -7) + 2(w)

               136 = 8w - 14 + 2w

               136 = 10w - 14

               150 = 10w

                 15 = w

Length (L): 4w - 7   = 4(15) - 7   = 60 - 7   = 53

Answer: width=15 m, length=53 m

Principal: $2600<br> Rate: 3%<br> Time: 3 years<br> What is the interest made?
Marianna [84]

Answer:

$234

Step-by-step explanation:

First, converting R percent to r a decimal

r = R/100 = 3%/100 = 0.03 per year,

then, solving our equation

I = 2600 × 0.03 × 3 = 234

I = $ 234.00

The simple interest accumulated

on a principal of $ 2,600.00

at a rate of 3% per year

for 3 years is $ 234.00.
