Answer:

The policy of brinksmanship is a policy of willingness to go to the edge of war in order to make an opponent concede.

Explanation:

When two or more countries are in conflict with one another, they often use their military's prowess as a threat to make the opposition lost their interest.

This strategy used to create a tension within the opposition based and make them think that engaging in war with the opposition actually will cost more than the value that they get from their initial interest.

Example of this would be what United States and the Soviet Union did during the civil war.  In order to fight for influence over several regions across the war, both countries continuously established military's bases that's close with one another.

What were three methods in history used by the US to gain land?
leonid [27]

The first groups of people to settle in the Americas were the Native Americans. Years after them, European settlers (Pilgrims) came here in search of wealth. The did anything that they could to gain wealth, including treating the Native American awfully. They claimed that this was God's plan for them.

The White settlers conquered the Native American, enslaved them, mass murdered them, and forced the survivors to live on Reservations. Then, the European settlers continued to follow the Manifest Destiny ( the lie that it was God's plan for then to conquer all of America).

Then, the settler decided that they could make their lives easier by taking people from Africa and enslaving them. This was another method that they used to gain more land. SInce they had the slaves doing all of their work for them, they were able to make plans to move west and settle all of America.

Did admiral yamamoto make a wise decision in bombing pearl harbor/
larisa [96]
For the Japanese, No because after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, USA came up with the atomic bomb that killed massive numbers of Japanese both innocent and not. For the Allied group (Canada, Britain and France) it is a good thing because it bought USA to war and as I said before USA came up with the atomic bomb that stopped World War II. Also the atomic bomb finally made the Japanese to surrender.

Write a summary about the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?
Artist 52 [7]
The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen were the sunsets in the smoky mountains of Tennessee. The way the sun dipped below the mountain peaks and the colors of dusk slowly began to fade away made me feel as though I was in heaven.
