Answer:

Because their car broke down, preventing them from going on their way, so they had to stay at the inn.

Explanation:

Tom and Lily are characters in the "Searching for Summer" story. They just got married and decide to travel on their own to enjoy a happy honeymoon. However, in the middle of the trip, their car starts showing signs of malfunction and after a while the car stops working entirely. It is already very late and getting dark, so they decide to spend the night at the Sunrise Sun Inn in Molesworth, so that the next day they can solve the car problem.

Zolol [24]
The internet it is an outlet used by mostly adults and children though the internet has lots of information that should not be accessible to children. In my opinion society needs to spread more internet safety awareness regarding how the loads of information on the internet can positively or negatively impact children. In my opinion the internet is to advanced for children hence I why I feel that you should be 18+ to access the internet. I honestly feel there should be an experiment comparing how children who have accessed the internet function differently from those who haven’t.

Serjik [45]

Answer: Read again stanzas one and two. Suggest a word or phrase of your own that best describe how the two characters feel about each other . In ballad of Birmingham, In the First Stanza, the daughter was asking for permission from her Mother, to go to the march, you could see, she respected her mother, and needed approval to do certain things. In the second stanza, you could see a Cautious woman, protecting her child from the dangers of the world.

Explanation:

In the first stanza;

Mother dear, may I go downtown

Instead of out to play,

And march the streets of Birmingham

In a Freedom March today?”

In the First Stanza, the daughter was asking for permission from her Mother, to go to the march, you could see, she respected her mother, and needed approval to do certain things.

In the second stanza;

No, baby, no, you may not go,

For the dogs are fierce and wild,

And clubs and hoses, guns and jails

Aren’t good for a little child.”

In the second stanza, the mother refuses, because she was trying to protect her daughter from the dangers of her environment.

From the first two stanzas, you could see that the mother loved her daughter and wanted to protect her from the dangers of the world, and you could see that the daughter respected her mum, to ask for permission to go the march.
