The crusades mainly even happened because of the spread of Christianity in Rome and because of religious freedom.
The mission was to take back jerusalem at the command of the pope because it was a holy city and Jerusalem was sacred to Jews, Muslims and Christians. Here are some reasons people joined the crusades: -

1. To gain back a holy site from the Muslims because of devotion to their religion.
2. The pope told them that all the soldier’s sins would be forgiven.
3. To get wealthy

An object experiences an impulse of 38.6 N -s for 54.8 . What is the force on the object ?
artcher [175]

The magnitude of the force acting on the object is equal to 0.70 Newton.

Given the following data:

 • Impulse = 38.6 Ns.
 • Time = 54.8 seconds

To determine the magnitude of the force acting on the object:

The impulse experienced by an object is the product of force and time.

Mathematically, impulse is given by this formula:

I = Ft

Where:

 • I is the impulse.
 • F is the force.
 • t is the time.

Making F the subject of formula, we have:

F=\frac{I}{t}

Substituting the given parameters into the formula, we have;

F=\frac{38.6}{54.8}

Force, F = 0.70 Newton.
