I need to know the answer ?
kramer

I can't tell what that bottom coordinate is labeled as but I am going to call it Z.

I = (-3 , -2)

E = (-3 , -3)

Q = (2 , -4)

Z = (0 , -5

To reflect acrossed y = -2 means that

I = (-3 , -2)

E = (-3 , -1)

Q = (2 , 0)

Z = (0 , 1)

All you are doing is taking the y coordinate on each of them and basically mirroring it. Kind of like how you look into a mirror you see a reflection all your doing is changing the y values to be the opposite of what they are when you mirror them across y = -2.

I coordinate stays at (-3 , -2) because the y coordinate (x , y) is at y = -2. Y is vertical on the graph and x is horizontal.

How many pounds of candy that cells for $0.66 per Ib must be mixed with candy that sells for $1.31 per Ib to obtain 9 Ib of a mi
faltersainse [42]

Answer:  \frac{306}{65} pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x pounds of $ 0.66 per lb candies mixed with y pounds of $ 1.31 per lb candies to obtain 9 lb of $ 0.97 per lb candies,

Hence, we can write,

x + y = 9 ------- (1)

And, 0.66 of x + 1.31 of y = 0.97 of (x + y)

⇒ 66 x + 131 y = 97 (x+y)

⇒ 66 x +131 y - 97 x - 97 y = 0

⇒ -31 x + 34 y = 0  ------(2)

By solving equation (1) and (2)

We get,

x=\frac{306}{65} and y=\frac{279}{65}

Hence, the quantity of 0.66 per lb candies = \frac{306}{65}  pounds
