A play can be defined as a literary work that presents the dialogue between characters, as well as portrayal of fictional and non-fictional events in a theatre.

A plot simply describes the order of events in a literary work such as a play.

The events in the play becomes complicated and the conflict is exposed or revealed; creating suspense, tension and drama in the mind of the audience or reader. Rising action is between the introduction and climax of a play.

III. Climax: it's marks the turning point of events in a play or story.

IV. Falling action: the events in the play begins to fall in place while all loose ends come to a close.

V. Resolution: this is the part of a play in which all conflicts are resolved. This ultimately implies that, it marks the end of a play, as conflict between the protagonist and antagonist is resolved.

What is a vignette? It's due today! Please help!
sdas [7]

Answer:

A vignette is a short and descriptive piece of writing that captures a brief period in time. Vignettes are more focused on vivid imagery and meaning rather than plot. Vignettes can be stand-alone, but they are more commonly part of a larger narrative, such as vignettes found in novels or collections of short stories.

What is the significance of Argo’s death and why might Homer have included it in this poem?
77julia77 [94]

Argos was Odysseus's hunting dog and his faithful pet. Even when its owner left it to fight in the battle of Troy, it waited for him for years and years, with unwavering loyalty. When Odysseus finally returned to Ithaca, disguised as a beggar, a very aged Argos recognized him and felt incredibly happy to see him again, dying not long after, as it could finally fulfill its wish of seeing him once again. Argos is included in the poem to represent undying loyalty.
