Answer:

By the 4th hour of working, both jobs pay 80, but Job B will pay less by the 5th hour, and continues to pay less as time progresses after that.

Draw the graph of Job b on the same graph as A and you'll see exactly when A passes B.

He'll make more at job A if he works more than 4-5 hours, but more at job B if he works less than 4-5 hours (again, don't know at exactly what time A passes B, wouldn't recommend putting "4-5" on a paper)

Step-by-step explanation:

hour          job A pay           job B pay

----------------------------------------------------------

 0                    $0                    $30

 1                   $ 20                $42.50

 2                   $40                   $55

 3                   $60                $67.50

 4                   $ 80                  $80

 5                   $100               $ 92.50

Hope this helps!

Answer:

<u>8. and anything less</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

The line thing would be pointing to the left as 8 and lower fit the solutions.

8 - 4 = 4 which is less than 5

7 - 4 = 3 which is less than 5

6 - 4 = 2 which is less than 5

If you were to carry on testing these where <em>X</em> is getting smaller in value, it will never end. Any number above 8 will not work

julia-pushkina [17]

Let as consider, we need to find the fixed fee.

Given:

Cost of each ticket = $18

Number of tickets = 5

Total cost = $93

To find:

The fixed fee.

Solution:

Let x be the fixed fee..

Cost of 1 ticket = $18

Cost of 5 ticket = $(5 × 18)

                         = $90

Total cost 5 tickets = Fixed fee + Cost of 5 tickets

93=x+90

93-90=x

3=x

Therefore, the fixed fee is $3.
