2. no because the newspapers was a form of propaganda and morale for the British citizens so seeing this in the newspaper would make them lose faith and think that they are losing. Only good or over exaggerated fake news was shown to the British citizens to make them think they were winning.

I've forgotten a lot about Dunkirk but I hope this helps!
