E Federal Reserve is independent of the other branches of government. How does this independence help it when it must make diffi
adoni [48]

Answer:

Answered below

Explanation:

The Federal Reserve is made up of twelve regional Federal Reserve banks and is led by the Board of Governors in Washington DC.

It's role is to develop and implement monetary policies which enhances stable prices, maximum employment and moderate interest rates.

The Federal Reserve was granted independence by Congress, from both the legislative and executive branches of government. This independence enable it to have a longer length of term for members and it's own funding mechanism.

The independence of the Federal reserve helps it continue to pursue its goals and objectives based on long-term analysis and data and not influenced by political changes and interference.

If the Federal Reserve was not independent, it could be influenced by politicians to make short-term policies that might hurt the economy.

All the following statements regarding the New Right are true except its:
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

The right answer is C): Origins can be traced back several decades before Ronald Reagan became president.

Explanation:

The New Right was not in existence several decades before Ronald Reagan became president in 1980. The New Right formed as a movement just a few (at most 2) decades before Ronald Reagan became president; actually, it started in the 1960s and 1970s by members who were unhappy over the rise in certain social and cultural issues such as crime, abortion, the social unrest due to the Vietnam War, and the practice of sexuality in public. In 1973, after the Supreme Court made a ruling in the Roe v. Wade case, a parallel movement called the Religious Right, which was in support of the New Right movement, opposed the ruling. The Religious Right was made up of so many Protestant Christians who opposed abortion and homosexuality.
