A reform movement is a type of social movement that aims to bring a social or political system closer to the community's ideal. It was an event which happened in 1676 when lower classes rebelled against the system in which they were not being treated equally as the upper classes. This was the first rebellion of such nature and it lead to greater democracy in the States.
