Answer:

Boys(B) + Girls(G) = 85    ----(1)

Mangoes = 380

Each boy gets 4mangoes

Each girl gets 5mangoes

4B + 5G = 380   -------(2)

from (1) B = 85 - G

Substitute B in (2)

4(85 - G) + 5G = 380

360 - 4G + 5G = 380

G = 380 - 360 = 20

from (1) B = 85 - 20 = 65

Therefore number of boys = 65 and girls = 20

Ratio of boys and girls = 65 : 20 = 13 : 4

Hi um if your so kind please do 31,33,35,37 if you do thank so much
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

31) They divided by 100, they're suppose to times 0.86 by 100 instead, which will be 86%

33) 0.34 x 100=34%

35) we do the inverse to turn it back into

a decimal which will be 0.36

\frac{36}{100}  =  \frac{18}{50}  =  \frac{9}{25}

36) 16.24÷100=0.6424

\frac{16.24}{100}  =  \frac{8.12}{50}  =  \frac{4.6}{25}

If m<2 =3x + 14 and m<7 =5x -60 then find the measure of angle 3
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer:

∠ 3 = 55°

Step-by-step explanation:

∠ 2 and ∠ 7 are corresponding angles and are congruent, then

5x - 60 = 3x + 14 ( subtract 3x from both sides )

2x - 60 = 14 ( add 60 to both sides )

2x = 74 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 37

∠ 2 = 3x + 14 = 3(37) + 14 = 111 + 14 = 125°

∠ 2 and ∠ 3 are adjacent angles on a straight line and sum to 180° , so

125° + ∠ 3 = 180° ( subtract 125° from both sides )

∠ 3 = 55°

During a clearance sale, a discount of 33.3% is given on a dinner set marked at $2799. Find it's selling price
Mashcka [7]

First, convert the 33% to a real mathematical number. For percents, this is always done by dividing the 33% by 100%, or 33% / 100% = 0.330.

Second, find out what 33% of $2799 is. This is the amount of the sale discount. This is always found by mulitplying 0.330 by the item's cost $2799, like this:

0.330 x $2799 = $923.67.

So for this sale, you'll save $923.67 on this item.

This means, the cost of the item to you is

$2799 - $923.67 = $1875.33.

Alternatively, you can think about it this way. The item is 33% off. This means you'll pay 67.000% of the total cost (100% - 33% = 67.000%).

Now what's 67.000% of the total cost?

0.670 x $2799 = $1875.33.

Just like the result above, the sale price on the item is $1875.33.

Hope this helps you on your assignment! :)
