A. In an essay tell me what this graph says. Be sure to include demand, supply, quantity
Paha777 [63]

In the graph:

The vertical axis implies the price, the horizontal axis implies the quantity supplied and demanded. The downward line is the demand curve, the upward line is the supply curve.

As it can be seen in the graph, demand curve and supply curve intersect at point A. So that point A implies the equilibrium of the market when the quantity supplied equal to the demand supplied equal to Q1 (S = D = Q1) and the price is P1.

When the price is at P2, the quantity supplied (Q2) is larger than demanded (Q3), resulting in the surplus in the market.

When the price is at P3, the quantity demanded (Q4) is larger than supplied (Q5), resulting in the shortage in the market.

dybincka [34]

Answer:

the Hawthorne effect

Explanation:

In conducting an experiment on prison violence, researchers randomly placed cameras in certain cells. The results showed unusually low incidents of conflict between prisoners in areas where cameras were present. This change in the prisoners' behavior as a result of being observed is known as the Hawthorne effect.

The Hawthorne Effect is the tendency for people who are the subjects of an experimental study to make positive adjustment to their behavior that is being evaluated only because it is being studied and not because of changes in the experiment parameters or stimulus.

In this case the prisoners adjusted their behavior because of the presence of cameras not for any other reason.

Which of the following best describes the state of self-government in British Colonial America in the 1600s?
Luda [366]

Answer:

The colonies had British governors in place but many also had assemblies to represent the interests of the people. During the 1600's, the colonies were mostly left alone to monitor themselves and this remained as long as the economic relationship was good.

Virginia created the House of Burgesses which was the first representative government in the colonies. Landowners were the government officials and people responsible for running the colonial governments. New England colonies were represented by a council of elders and church leaders. They also agreed to a representative colonial government in which landowning men were the only people involved in the government.
