A man named Confucius lived during the Zhou Dynasty of ancient China. He was born into a poor family and, through educating hims

elf, was able to rise to a higher social class and to become a government official. He also worked as a private teacher -- people could hire Confucius to be their teacher.
Confucius taught others that it was very important to live life based on strong moral and ethical ideas. For example, doing good things for others is a good moral and ethical idea, while cheating others is immoral (not moral) and unethical (not ethical).

Confucius' teachings became recognized during his time, and even more later on, as very wise and good. As Chinese society evolved, people began to refer to his teachings as Confucianism. This was not a religion, but instead was a way of behaving to do the right things.

Much of Confucius' teachings spoke to how families should interact with each other, such as how parents should treat children and how children should speak to their elders. His teachings also looked at other relationships such as those between teacher and student, neighbor and neighbor, and men and women.

A lot of Confucius' teaching related to how a government should treat its citizens and how the citizens should behave to treat their government well. Even today, Chinese government has elements of Confucianism to it. That is what we'll look at in this question, which you can answer in the space below:

Look at this QUOTES OF CONFUCIUS RESOURCE. Choose five Confucius quotes that you think might relate to how government and citizens should interact with each other. Paste or type your quote into he answer box and then write 2-3 sentences each about why the quote relates to the ways government and citizens interact. (There is no right or wrong answer here, as long as you provide an explanation for each quote, you can be as creative as you want). (10 pts)

Cheri, a first-grader, acts immature for her age. She frequently throws temper tantrums in school and is very dependent on her m
lapo4ka [179]

Answer: B

Explanation: The correct answer is letter B, permissive parents. They are probably allowing Cheri to do whatever she wants and when someone tells her "no" she will throw temper tantrums that finally gets her what she wanted.

Us as humans always use tools that were effective for us at a certain point in a certain situation, so if throwing temper tantrums resulted for this girl she will be most likely to do it in other contexts. The problem is that this behavior will get her into trouble with other people and their parents should learn how to put limits in order to teach her to recognize authority and mature.
