there could be alot of reasons to why they did that but due to what my research stated there are only 3 main reasons and they are 1 british economic blockage of france,induction of thousand american seman and the british support of native american tribes along the great lakes frontier. the british and america always had a issue that had to be solve such as the violations of the u.s. maritime time. but in my thought of process their shouldn't have been a war i mean they was only fighting for their independence.
