Read the adapted excerpt from the poem “On Imagination” by Phillis Wheatley.
jeyben [28]

The speaker compares “Imagination” in the poem, to a soaring bird through a variety of forces in the universe. He believes, that there are a lot of advantages of having an imagination, it keeps you sane and your ideas can spread like wildfire through the process. Thus, option "A" is correct.

What is the theme of the poem "On Imagination"?

In the poem "On Imagination" by Phyllis Wheatley, imagination was compared to that of a soaring bird probably because the bird can reach the highest of mountains, the clouds and even beyond the sky. Just like the imagination, the bird is limitless and with no boundaries. The bird can see everything up and out there that cannot be seen by common folks much like the imagination wherein everything is possible and anything and everybody exists.

The bird just like the imagination flies so high to the vast outer space seeing wonders and beauties as they travel and fly leaving those in time when the imagination needs to go back to reality and the bird to his home.

Thus, option "A" is correct.

How and why do ethical dilemmas challenge and develop our identity?
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

Ethical dilemmas challenge and develop our identity by showing what lengths we as humans are willing to go through to do the right thing, it shows how loyal and persistent we are. It shows each person's personality and grit as they choose different responses.

Ethical dilemmas are something that requires a lot of thinking, high risks, and is something where you can easily do the wrong thing but you choose not to, those are the times you see the true person. To find someone's identity and watch as their identity grows you have to put them in situations where their identity does grow, if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.

There's a quote by Stephen Fry that says, "You are who you are when nobody's watching.”

That is when your true identity comes out, when you choose the right or wrong thing and nobody will ever know about it.
