Uranium (c) is Not classified as a fossil fuel

The reason why is because ..

Fossil fuels such as Coal , oil , and natural gas are considered "fossil fuels" because they were formed by the buried remains of "animals and plant"s that have lived millions of years ago.

However , Uranium is mined and then converted into a fuel but used for "nuclear power plants".

Therefore , that does not make Uranium a "Fossil Fuel" as it is not made or used from fossils of animals and plants , making or using it as a "fossil fuel" but as a fuel for the nuclear power for plants

I hope this helps you!
Please give a thumbs up if this information that I have given you helped and let me know if this was correct under reiview of the test you are taking!

Have a wonderful day!

When the earth’s surface gets weathered away over time, it is known as:
ZanzabumX [31]
That would just be called Weathering and Erosion. Erosion happens when rocks and sediments are picked up and moved to another place by ice, water, wind or gravity. Mechanical weathering physically breaks up rock. One example is called frost action or frost shattering. Water gets into cracks and joints in bedrock.

Explain why the diagram shown in Figure 9 is an example of nature’s recycling system.
Masja [62]

The diagram that is shown in Figure 9 is an example of nature's recycling system as nutrients can be lost from the system by leaching heavy rain.

What is a recycling system?

A recycling system means through which recyclable materials are separated from the waste collected on-site and managed.

Trees drop leaves which form a leaf litter layer. The hot and humid conditions help this. Decomposers are responsible for the breakdown of organic material such as leaves, twigs, and dead animals.

They are vital in recycling nutrients and converting dead matter into a form that can be used and nutrients can be absorbed by the plants.
