Answer:

d keep an audience’s attention through distraction.

Explanation:

Advantages of Visual Aids in a Presentation:

  • A picture is worth a thousand words - presentation softwares let you display images and videos that help prove the speaker's theses. By using graphics to show trends or using photographs to showcase a product, the speaker helps the audience better visualize (and therefore understand) what he or she tells you.
  • Appeals to many senses - While oral speech mainly stimulates hearing, the use of multimedia tools stimulates other senses, especially vision. To see is to feel. And for some auditoriums that makes all the difference: Have you ever wondered why tradeshow vendors insist on permanently repeating demonstrations without forgetting the videos that explain the benefits of their products?
  • Greener and more versatile support - Multimedia presentations save paper: a single presentation can be seen by all members of the auditorium without photocopying. On the other hand, they allow greater creativity and originality in the presentation of contents when compared to paper.
  • Easy content creation - Multimedia tools allow you to quickly and simply dress up and embellish the speaker's ideas and make them visually appealing. In fact, no Visual Design course is required to make captivating slides.

Provide the definition for each of the following structures and unions:
galben [10]

Answer:

a)

struct inventory  // structure inventory

{

char partName[ 30 ];  // char array

int partNumber;  // variable partNumber

float price;  // FLOAT VARIABLE PRICE

int stock ;  // INT VARIABLE STOCK

int reorder;  // INTEGER VARIABLE RECORDER

};

b)

union data // structure union

{

char c;  // char variable

short s; // short variable

long b; //

long variable float f ;  // float variable

double d ; // double variable

};

c)

struct address  // structure address

{

char streetAddress[ 25 ]; // character array

char city[ 20 ]; // variable char

char  state[ 3 ] ; // state array

char  zipCode[ 6 ] ; // zipcode array

};

d)

structure student  // structure student

{

char firstName[ 15 ]; // array first name

char  lastName[ 15 ] ;  // array last name

struct address * ;  // holding the home address

};

e)

struct test

{

unsigned a:1, b:1, c:1, d:1, e:1, f:1, g:1, h:1, i:1, j:1, k:1, l:1, m:1, n:1, o:1, p:1;

}; // prototype test assign value

Explanation:

Following are the description of the above part

a)

  • By using the struct keyword we declared the structure .In the part (a) we declared the struct  "inventory".In this structure we char array "partName " of size 30 .
  • We holding the 3 int variable "partNumber" , "stock" and "reorder." and 1 float variable i.e "price ".

b)

  • By using the union keyword we declared the union .In the part (b) we created the union .
  • Inside that union we holding different types of datatype that are mention in the question .

C)

  • By using the struct keyword we declared the structure  .In the part (c) we created the structure.
  • Inside that structure we holding array of character of variable "streetAddress","city","state" and "zipcode" by using char array .

d)

  • By using the struct keyword we declared the structure .
  • In this we declared array of "firstname" and "lastname" of char datatype .
  • In the last we create a structure address by using the pointer following by struct address

e)

In the part e we created the test that contain unsigned value of thhe 16 bit and 1 width

If a node receives a frame and the calculated CRC does not match the CRC in the FCS,
Basile [38]

Answer:

It drops the frame

Explanation:

The FCS stands for the frame check sequence, and it is nothing else but an error-detecting code which is added to the frame ( communication protocol). However, the frames are being used for sending the payload data via a source to a certain destination. And if the CRC is not correct, or that does not match the CRC of the FCS then it confirms that the sequence is not correct, and FCS drops that frame.

Review how to write a for loop by choosing the output of this short program.
Natalija [7]

This for loop will output:

0

2

4

The range(3) is all the integers between 0 inclusive and 3 exclusive. 0, 1, 2.

Every iterations through the for loop, we multiply the value of each number by 2 and print it to the console.

0 * 2 = 0

1 * 2 = 2

2 * 2 = 4

I hope this helps.

Suppose you want to encode the numerals 0–9 and the 26 letters of the alphabet, using separate codes for lowercase and uppercase
labwork [276]

Lets first work out how many different codes would be needed to represent everything. 26 for lowercase, 26 for uppercase, and 10 for 0-9. Total, that makes 62 needed codes.

If we start with 0, we need to go up to 61 to represent all the characters. Thus, we can convert 61 to binary and count the number of digits needed to represent that as the last number in the set and that will tell us how many digits are needed.

61 in binary is 111101, so we need 6 digits to represent that number. The answer is B.
