A love affair left unresolved. I think that is a real big one. It means falling in love with someone that does not love you back and you break up. That can be pretty ugly.
Being a fleeting hero. getting someone out of a burning building and never have an opportunity to do it again. Or rescuing someone from a battlefield.
Being in a loveless marriage and feeling an obligation to stay in it.
