Answer

"Black English is the creation of the black diaspora"

As indicated in the article referenced in the question, language evolves because people have a deep collective need to communicate the realities of their conditions in a way that makes meaning to them as well as to others. To be forced into a language system that disallows them from doing that, or dampens their ability for self-expression translates to the submergence of a people. Aristotle put it succinctly. He states that "freedom is obedience to self-formulated rules"

So if people are truly free, then they reserve every right to express themselves how they chose.

Another section of the article which speaks strongly to the subject matter states that the rules of the language are not self-determined by the nature of the language itself, but by the very things, experiences, emotions, desires etc that the language must communicate.

Cheers

How might Beowulf and decision to fight
ANEK [815]

Answer:

Beowulf had gone to help King Hrothgar of the Danes to defeat a monster called Grendel who had tormented the kingdom for a long time. He defeated the monster with his bare hands after he discovered his weapons had no effect on him.

Shortly after defeating Grendel the monster, his mother comes for revenge and Beowulf goes after her and also defeats her, but it was an epic battle. After helping the Danes, he was rewarded with a lot of gifts and he went back home to Geats as a hero and was subsequently made their King.

Fifty years later, Beowulf is called to action again and defeats a dragon who mortally wounds him, he dies, is cremated, and a statue is erected for him by the sea.

Beowulf might have failed in his role as King by fighting the dragon because, with his death, his kingdom was defenceless against attacks and possible invasion.
