Darryl has written 60 percent, or 12 pages, of his history report. Darryl wants to figure out how many pages he needs to write.

Darryl’s work is shown below. Step 1: Write 60 percent as a ratio. StartFraction part Over whole EndFraction = StartFraction 60 Over 100 EndFraction Step 2: Write an equivalent ratio using the number of pages done so far. StartFraction 60 Over 100 EndFraction = StartFraction 12 Over question mark EndFraction Step 3: Rewrite as: 12 (100) divided by 60. Step 4: 120 divided by 60 = 2 What mistake did Darryl make? In Step 1, Darryl should have written the ratio as StartFraction 100 Over 60 EndFraction. In Step 2, Darryl should have put 12 in the denominator. In Step 3, Darryl should have multiplied 60 and 100. In Step 4, Darryl multiplied 12 and 100 incorrectly.

Step-by-step explanation:

angle 4 is congruent to angle 4 because they are alternate interior angles.

angle 5 is congruent to angle 3 because they are alternate interior angles.

angle 1+angle 2+angle 3 is equal to (=) angle 1+angle 2+angle 3

angle 1+angle 2+angle 3=180 degree(being sum of interior angles of a trianngle)

Please help with number 1 and 4 asap!
BaLLatris [955]

Answer:

Total surface area

1) 46cm²

4) 304cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

1) First you need to work out each face on its own, opposites will be the same such as the front and back, top and bottom, side to side, because its a rectangle.

Formula : Base x height

Front/back : 5x3=15 and 15 =30 (added together)

top/bottom : 1x5= 5 and 5 = 10

side/side : 3x1= 3 and 3 = 6

30+10+6=46cm²

4) lets work out the easy ones first using the same formula from question 1 for one surface area but this is a trapezium, which is a irregular quadratical shape so the sides would most liky be different from each other except the front and back.

Top : 5x8=40

bottom : 3x10=30

right side : 12x8=96

Left side : 12x10=120

front/back= 12x3=36 / 2 = 18

Because if u added another side to make it a rectangle then divide by 2 would get the answer or 1/2 x base x height also works.

40+30+96+120+18=304cm²
