The main feature of the Industrial Revolution was the creation of a mechanized manufacturing system, that is, factories went from simple manufactured production to the complex substitution of manual labor with machines. This substitution resulted in the acceleration of the production of goods, which started to be produced on a large scale. This large-scale production, in turn, demanded an increasing demand for raw materials, specialized labor for factories and the consumer market. This requirement, in turn, also implied the acceleration of the means of transportation of people and goods. It was necessary to shorten the time that passed from one region to another to sell the products.
