Which sentence best describes the idea expressed in the final stanza? People are weak and fearful. Life is fleeting and always c
Darya [45]

Percy Shelley's poem "Mutability" explores the constant change that humans face throughout their lifetimes. He demonstrates that, in contrast to change, human existence is unimportant and easily forgotten.

Option B is the correct answer. That is the last stanza describes that "Life is fleeting and always changing" according to the context of Mutability.

The reasons for the description of life as per the poem:

 • Its path of departure is still open: (it shows how life is fleeting)

 • Man's yesterday may never be the same as his tomorrow; (life is full of change.)`

 • Mutability is the only thing that can stand the test of time. (It may appear paradoxical, but only one thing will remain constant: change.)

Therefore, according to the poem life is always changing and fleeting.

Brain drain is not a bane for a developing country
Inga [223]

Answer:

I am debating against the motion.

Explanation:

Brain drain refers to the emigration of highly skilled and educated individuals from their countries of origin which are either underdeveloped or developing to developed countries. Developing countries like India which produce millions of graduates in a year and whose per capita income is quite low suffer negatively for this. Brain drain is a problem for developing countries for the following reasons:

1. It results in further weakening of the economy: Skilled workers are trained from the limited resources generated in weak economies. For there to be a balance, they are expected to give back to the economy. When this does not happen there is a further weakening of the economy which, in turn, makes it harder for the economy to progress.

2. Lack of access to qualified personnel who can positively impact the economy: Citizens of a country usually have their interest at heart. But when intelligent citizens who should contribute and provide solutions to the government and the economy leave the country, there are negative short and long term consequences. One short term effect is that access to good personnel (for example, health practitioners) is limited for the teeming population and this could result in deaths while in the long run, the country experiences stunted growth.

The few reasons stated above prove that truly, brain drain is a bane for developing nations.

Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

Amir has a rich background while Hassan has a poor background.

Explanation:

The descriptions of Amir's possessions are those of a person who is rich. He has a magnificent house and he has a red brick driveway which also suggests that he also owns cars. This implies that he must be rich or that he must come from a rich family because it is only a rich person that can afford to own these things.

Hassan on the other walks towards a little mud hut which also implies that he must come from a poor and humble background.
