What’s an estimation of how many Jews survived World War II? I’m really interested in history and army stuff :)

History

Answer:

The Jewish population had dropped significantly after WW2 but I'm sure you can find estimations of Jews post World War 2 if you focus on a certain country. Poland for example had the most Jews before WW2 with over 3 million and reduced to 45,000 after WW2. After the war, the Soviet Union had the most Jewish Populace holding 2 million Jews.

If you like to learn about military history I suggest learning about legendary Generals/ field marshals like:

-Bernard Montgomery

-George Patton

-Erwin Rommel

-Heinz Guderian

-Chester Nimitz

-Douglas Macarthur

-Gregory Zhukov

As a military historian, one should not see who these field marshals were fighting for but how they fought and what tactics did they use. One good example to justify this, Erwin Rommel a German Field Marshal was respected by George Patton and Bernard Montgomery even though they were fighting each other. Erwin Rommel had also gone against the discrimination of Jews and minorities and helped POWs after battles.

Why did war affect life on south more that north?
quester [9]

During the Civil War, it was much easier for the North to obtain and manufacture items that were needed. Certain items during this time were very crucial and important for war, like weapons, clothes, medical supplies, and other things that were needed in abundance. The North definitely had an advantage during this time, as they had larger cities which contained industries which made much needed items.

Gunpowder was obviously needed during this time, but its ingredients had to be imported. Since the North controlled the main ports, they would get much more gunpowder and even some other items from outside forces.

Why the three colonial regions ( New England, middle, and south developed differently?
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

How were New England middle and southern colonies different?

The Middle colonies had some slaves while the New England colonies had very few slaves. This is true because there was more large scale farming in the southern part of the Middle colonies where the soil was more fertile and the climate more suited for farming. Thus, another difference is the kind of farming done.
