Junior is a fourteen-year old boy living on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Washington. He was born with hydrocephalus (water in the brain), which has led to a number of health problems. In addition, his large skull, awkward lisp, and thick glasses have made him the victim of bullying from his tribe members - teenagers and adults alike.

Andrew [12]

Hey there!

This poem is divided into twelve four lines of stanzas, which are known as quatrains; the rhyme scheme of each of the quatrain is ABCB.

The poem is in iambic tetrameter: One Iamb is when an unstressed syllable is followed by a stressed syllable and tetra means four. That is, each line of the ballad contains four iambs; however, there are only three stressed syllables in the fourth line of each quatrain.

The meter is iambic with 4 feet in the first 3 lines; the last line has 2 feet.

Hope this helps!

Could u, please, mark as brainliest?

Have a good day.

Write a 200 word narrative about something ironic. Please Answer Quickly!
allochka39001 [22]

\huge\bigstar\:\Huge\tt\underline\blue{ANSWER}

Irony can be tough to write because first you have to notice something ironic to write about a situation, which is a kind of insight. That’s also why it’s a fairly impressive writing technique. So the trick is not to practice writing irony but to practice noticing it. Look around you every day, and you will see plenty of ways in which ordinary expectations are contradicted by what happens in the real, unpredictable world. As you look around for irony, take care to avoid the pitfall of confusing irony with coincidence. Often coincidences are ironic, and often they are not. Think of it this way: a coincidence would be if firemen, on the way home from putting out a fire, suddenly got called back out to fight another one. Irony would be if their fire truck caught on fire. The latter violates our expectations about fire trucks, whereas the former is just an unfortunate (but not necessarily unexpected) turn of events.

Another way of putting it is this: coincidence is a relationship between  facts (e.g. Fire 1 and Fire 2), whereas irony is a relationship between a fact and an expectation and how they contradict each other.

When to use irony

Irony belongs more in creative writing than in formal essays. It’s a great way of getting a reader engaged in a story, since it sets up expectations and then provokes an emotional response. It also makes a story feel more lifelike, since having our expectations violated is a universal experience. And, of course, humor is always valuable in creative writing.

Verbal irony is also useful in creative writing,

Write a 150 word descriptive paragraph about a topic of your choosing, using at least three of the following elements of figurat
ruslelena [56]

Answer:

At the age of 43 he made the decision to jump out of a plane.

The idea scared him but the reward of finally feeling like a real man was worth it. So all geared up away he flew — the plane’s door open during the whole flight.

Trying hard not to gag in front of anyone he approached the door once they were above the clouds.

Don’t think you coward! Just jump! What’s the worst that could happen? Living like this is far worse than the shoot not opening, he thought.

So he jumped and fell towards the Earth at 120 mph.

He felt at peace as he fell. Frantic thoughts did not cross his mind as one might think. Just peace.

When he hit the ground and stood up tears filled his eyes.

He would never be a real man.

That ship sailed long ago.He used a pencil to say goodbye. Maybe that would make it less permanent. Words are only as strong as their intent and he didn’t want to leave.

His parents had once hinted that they knew the truth. But by the end of the day their heads were back in The Good Book — their eyes on everything but him.

So with a whisper he crafted his goodbye on paper.

He made the sentences sharp. His points were daggers. An eraser could make them go away. But he knew his parents wouldn’t see that.

“That’s why I have to go in the first place,” he thought.

And when he took his first step into the world as an honest man he felt fixed.

He’d left the note next to the TV. Burnable, tearable. Eraseable.

Maybe after they did all that, they’d remember he was just their son.
