Hippocrates developed the "Oath of Hippocrates" that most medical students recite after they graduate. It enforced a code of ethics that even doctors and nurses use today. And even today their ideas of math are still used today like the Pythagorean Therom who was developed by Pythagorus who was a Greek Philosopher. And performing in theaters and telling stories by mouth originated from Greece. So in essence, without the Greeks, we would be definitely behind in the medical field. Also, Greeks came up with the idea of Democracy. So Democracy would probably not ever be thought of without them.

Slaves were treated as good as property back in the day. With abuse, working hours, really really low pay if any, and how white people thought they were so much better then them.
Before the Revolution, British companies policies became stricter which benefited the mother country at the same time it limited the colonies growth. Also, these American colonies had to help pay the debt resulted from the French and Indian War. After the Revolution, both countries realized that they both needed each other for trade and commerce and that they shared a common heritage and language which made them treat each other quite well. However, Britain did still often kidnap American sailors and force them to serve in the British Navy which led to the War of 1812.
