Here is my vent:

My mother always tries to guilt me to stay with her. She tries to guilt me and I have things I need to do such as homework. She tries to guilt me when I’m trying to be a kid. All I ever do is do homework and help her and it’s never enough. It makes me feel like I’m not good enough. But I am a good kid. I never get into trouble, I’m ahead in all my high school classes, I’m in college, and I try so hard to be the best I can. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m in a hurry

Summary of lottery by Patricia Wood
AlekseyPX
Perry's IQ is only 76, but he's not stupid. His grandmother taught him everything he needs to know to survive: She taught him to write things down so he won't forget them. She taught him to play the lottery every week. And, most important, she taught him whom to trust. When Gram dies, Perry is left orphaned and bereft at the age of thirty-one. Then his weekly Washington State Lottery ticket wins him 12 million dollars, and he finds he has more family than he knows what to do with. Peopled with characters both wicked and heroic who leap off the pages, Lottery is a deeply satisfying, gorgeously rendered novel about trust, loyalty, and what distinguishes us as capable.

Pablo ate one and forty-eight hundredths pounds of bananas. What is the value of the 4 in this number? * 10 points 0.04 pound 40
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

Value = 4 * 0.1

Explanation:

Given:

Pounds = one and forty-eight hundredths

Required

Determine the value of 4

First, we convert the given to digits

One and forty-eight hundredths = 1.48

So:

Pounds = 1.48

Split to individual digits:

Pounds = 1 + 0.4 + 0.08

Express as sum of products

Pounds = 1*1 + 4 *0.1 + 8 * 0.01

Hence, the value of 4 is:

Value = 4 * 0.1
