Social media helps people find and talk to old friends, family, coworkers and anyone else they may know easier and efficiently. The idea of posting also updates people on how someone's life is going, what theyre thinking, or how theyre doing without actually talking to that person. It can also show you that the person has other friends and other things going on in their lofe that you might not know about. You can know alot about a person without even talking to them, but oftentimes social media sparks conversations and long lasting friendships between people.
