Why is the ending of "The Lady, or the Tiger?" so effective? How does this ambiguity affect the reader?

The ending is effective because it gives the reader the choice. It sparks conversation and forces the reader or group to analyze and really think about the story so they can decide how it ends.

Okay so a direct object is something that directly affects the subject. Indirect objects follow the direct object.
Ex: “I bought Mary some books.” Mary would be the direct object & books would be the indirect.
