Tetrameter means that there are 8 syllables in one line - a meter consists of two syllables, and tetra means four, so if you multiply that, you get 8 syllables. Throughout the poem, the class is being compared to a pack of unruly hounds. The teacher is showing that he has been trying to teach the children but it is late and they are itching to get away. This is shown when they are described as tugging on the leash and straining apart. The speaker says that he cannot drive them on another hunt towards something they are not interested in. He is basically giving up on trying to get them to learn anything new.

Villagers now have electricíty so their lives become more comfortable. Each household owns their running-water so they do not have to go far from their house to collect water. They also have modern equipment like TVs and phones, which bring not only information but also entertainment. In short, the recent changes in the countryside in Viet Nam have made villagers’ life better
