Answer: Shakespeare is still important today because people can compare themselves to the characters in Shakespeare's plays, old works can remain relevant today, and the talks about Shakespeare's plays will build friendships, Shakespeare's work remains relevant today. Despite his aging age, William Shakespeare's work remains one of history's greatest writers.
