Answer:

Enzymes are the bio catalyst that are used in biochemical reaction to increase the rate of the reaction. The enzymes has the ability to work at specific pH and temperature conditions.

Enzymes are reusable as they can be used for the further reaction and can be used for the other reactions as well. Enzymes does not undergo any change in the reaction and can be reused in the fresh reactions. Enzymes are not degraded during the reaction catalysis and can be reused in the other reactions of the body.

I would think on of the reasons is because the food that mice eat has a greater variety, in the sense that while a lion may only eat meat and have to catch its prey the mice can eat without relying on other animals. Lions also have more competition between other animals like them for example cheetahs and leopards on the other hand a mice is more independent. On period where food is scarse mice can get on with eating what the earth provides like plants lions can’t.
