I would say " if I could banish disease from the human frame, and render man invulnerable to any but a violent death!" because he is talking about taking away a <span>disease and make man immortal-ish like.</span>
it is more simple to tell the truth because if you tell a lie then get caught punishment will be worse than if you tell the truth but if you tell the truth then you will get off much more easy cause most parents don't want to raise kids that act up and tell lie's like my mom says we represent her so if we mess up so yeah hope this helps
