Plagiarism can get you expelled from your course, college and/or university. Plagiarism can result in your work being destroyed. Plagiarism can result in expulsion from you academic institution, in some cases permanent expulsion. Plagiarism can result in legal action; fines and penalties etc.

Well depending on your schools punishments, maybe detention and a phone call to parents. Alsi depends on what grade- if its a higher grade maybe a week of detention

If you're researching about events or things where there are multiple sides to the story I would always recommend viewing as much sides of the situation as possible, and reaching your own conclusion from that.
