Answer: exposition

Explanation: the exposition, or the beginning of a story, is a great place to start introducing the setting because it helps the reader understand the story much earlier.

It would be weird to read a story, thinking it was taking place at school (based on context clues), and then like in the climax, one of the characters go "I'M BREAKING OUT OF THIS PRISON" and then you just sit there all flabbergasted
