the first one is:

it changed daily life because people didn't need gas or anything because they had animals move them around.

it improved in the 20th century because we don't need animals move us place to place and everything is electrical nowadays.

Another is the Op Art, in which the artist creates optical illusions resembling three dimensions. Traditionally, lights and shadows were used to create the three dimensional form. Others use mixed techniques such as adding a photograph or other objects to the work.
