Answer:

Through the process of evaporation.

Explanation:

The fisherman could produce distilled water using sea water and plastic bottles. The fisherman takes two bottles and takes seawater in one of the bottle and connect both bottles head to head with each other. Place these bottle in the sunlight, the water in one bottles moves to the other when the water is evaporated due to high temperature gained through solar radiation in this way, salts remained in the second bottle whereas the fist bottle has clean distill water to drink.

What was the importance of the Louisiana Purchase?
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

It gave the United States control of the port of New Orleans for trade.

Explanation:

The Lousiana Purchase was important because New Orleans is located at the mouth of the Mississippi River that at that time was the main highway of trade and commerce for the US. When the French took over New Orleans from the Spanish they revoked the “right to deposit” that allowed the Americans to use the Port.

With the purchase, the US acquired approximately 827 thousand square miles of land for 15 million dollars. It doubled the size of the US, removed threats of French of blocking US trade, added agricultural power to the US.

How did steel impact pur economy
Volgvan

President Donald Trump on Thursday, March 1, announced that his administration planned to impose a 25% tariff on imported steel and a 10% tariff on imported aluminum. His argument was rooted in the notion that other countries' trade practices have undermined U.S. production and could potentially compromise national security at home.

While protectionists and free trade advocates erupted into a fierce debate, the stock market tumbled. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 420 points, or 1.68%, on Thursday, the S&P 500 lost 1.33% and the Nasdaq declined 1.27%.

It's important, then, to know how important steel and aluminum are to the U.S. economy.

After all, as much as 55% of a car's total weight comes from steel, according to the World Steel Association. Roughly 50% of steel use goes toward buildings and infrastructure. And about 16% of steel goes toward making mechanical equipment.
