When analyzing poems you should:

-Look for context clues for the meaning of words you may not know.

-Look for context clues for the meaning of the poem overall.

-You should read over it a couple times to make sure to find all the context clues!

Looking for context clues are important for analyzing any text- especially poems! They can help bring out the inner meaning of a text and you may even be able to infer what the author was feeling and thinking at the time of writing it.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
nlexa [21]

Answer:

if child watch TV for just entertainment so it's a waste of time for children their are many things to do in the life study basic need for the children to do and they can also go and play outdoor games with everyone so please all games are important for the children to play not like that just sit and watch TV just sit and watch phone they are very bad for our health also I prefer that watching TV is a waste of time for children like ok it affects our eyes very much and sometimes also mental health there are many such things that we can watch on TV which is off for entertainment but some things are very long which affects our mental health also we should at least watch TV only one hour in a day for half an hour for entertainment or break in a time but not more than that cause it is a waste of time I agree that watching there is a waste of time for children.

What two words in this excerpt from The Court of Monte Cristo csn be used as synonyms to determine the meaning of the word grott
podryga [215]
I think the excerpt you are talking about is...
"Dantès entered the second grotto. The second grotto was lower and more gloomy than the first; the air that could only enter by the newly formed opening had the mephitic smell Dantès was surprised not to find in the outer cavern. He waited in order to allow pure air to displace the foul atmosphere, and then went on." from The Court of Monte Cristo.
A synonym or the word grotto could be cave/cavern. Hope this helps!
