I just got off the wooden roll-a-coaster again. what are the grammar errors
alexandr402 [8]
The only error I can see in this sentence is roll-a-coaster. I believe it should be a roller coaster instead, which is a ride in amusement parks. Other than that, it is more grammatically correct to say "I've just gotten off the wooden" rather than "I just got off the wooden" however, it's up to you.

What is a comparison of two unlike things using "like" or "as"?
svp [43]
A simile is a comparison of two unlike things using "like" or "as".

For example:

"John was like an eagle, as he quickly spotted the rabbit, and was able to capture it."

Note that the word like was used, and that it compared John with the eagle

hope this helps
