HELLLPPPPPP!!!! 45 points if answered correctly !!!
amm1812

Answer:

In the United States, the Office of War Information was founded in 1942, with a purpose to deliver the government's message via different types of propaganda.

The Office thus produced posters, pamphlets, movies, radio shows, which involved the recruitment of filmmakers and advertisers, only with one goal - to persuade people to join the war. During the World War II, posters could be found everywhere - in the railway stations, buildings, schools and hospitals, post offices, etc. These propaganda tools (posters, movies) were combined with specific types of propaganda designed to appeal to the audience - bandwagon, name-calling, euphemism, etc. While some posters delivered positive messages, other posters were dark and frightening. The latter pointed out the terrible outcomes that other countries faced in the lack of war effort. Phrases such as: "When you ride alone, you ride with Hitler” or“Loose lips might sink ships” could be seen on them. Some of the posters attempted to awaken people's patriotic feelings: "Join the war and be a good American." The idea was, thus, to persuade the population that it is absolutely necessary for people to be behind the war effort.
