RNA nucleotide is the part of RNA replication that has similar structure to Remdesivir. Remdesivir is covalently bonded to the replicating RNA, which blocks further synthesis of RNA. This Remdesivir work against the viral polymerase and prevents viral spreading by blocking the synthesis of RNA. Remdesivir has similar structure to RNA nucleotide but different in their functions.
