❖ I think Grayson didn't turn Maniac over to a doctor or a police because he might've wanted someone in his life. In the book it mentions how Grayson was alone and maybe he just wanted some company. Grayson also might've felt bad for Maniac because he was a kid who didn't have a home and was just roaming around.

disagree but it depends on who it is. many people would like to be by themselves on a tropical island but for me I need contact with other humans to survive while happy. if i were stranded i wouldn't have contact with anyone and would have to find my own food and build my own shelter (if they weren't somehow provided) and i just couldnt do that.
