Answer:

\frac{13}{204} ≈ 0.0637

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Two cards are drawn without replacement from a standard deck of 52 playing cards.

To find: probability of choosing a heart and then, without replacement, a spade

Solution:

Probability refers to chance of occurrence of any event.

Probability = Number of favorable outcomes ÷ Total number of outcomes

Total number of cards = 52

Number of hearts = 13

So,

probability of choosing a heart = \frac{13}{52}=\frac{1}{4}

Number of remaining cards = 52-1=51

Number of spades = 13

Probability of choosing a spade = \frac{13}{51}

Events consisting of choosing a heart and spade are independent.

So,

Probability of choosing a heart and then, without replacement, a spade =

Probability of choosing a heart × Probability of choosing a spade

= \frac{1}{4}(\frac{13}{51})=\frac{13}{204} ≈ 0.0637

4=309

7=513

9=649

Step-by-step explanation:

Since she starts with 37MB already download 37 will be a constant and for every second she is home she downloads 68 more MBs so to get the answers for the table you just have to do 37+ 68*(the number of seconds)

2=37+68(2)=173

4=37+68(4)=309

7=37+68(7)=513

9=37+68(9)=649

Help with expanded notation, how do u do this!? Number 15 and 16
kiruha [24]
I think that # 15 is 10,000 + 400 + 50 + 6 and #16 is 100,000 + 80,000 + 70 + 5. It's really simple to figure out; just find the number in the place value and, for how many digits after it, substitute zeros (if that makes sense).

Hope this helps!
