Answer:

Renewable energy directly fights against climate change. With the emission of carbon dioxide, and other gases that contribute to a "greenhouse effect", we are accelerating climate change. And most of them are generated by the use of non-renewable fossil fuels (such as coal or gas).

Solar energy is the best alternative because it’s the easiest, cheapest, simplest, most widely available technology to deploy. To get started with solar energy you need a very small investment, you don’t need a windy location, or to be located next to a stream or body of water. A small solar panel with an attached LED light can make a difference in the lives of many people in Africa who still don’t have electricity. Solar is scalable so you can start with a solar array with a capacity of 500 watt for example and keep adding panels and scale up to hundreds of panels.

Which best explains the role of plants in the nitrogen cycle?
Mrac [35]

Answer:

Assimilation

Explanation:

This is how plants get nitrogen. They absorb nitrates from the soil into their roots. Then the nitrogen gets used in amino acids, nucleic acids, and chlorophyll. ... When a plant or animal dies, decomposers like fungi and bacteria turn the nitrogen back into ammonium so it can reenter the nitrogen cycle.

It is quite possible to have a positive reaction in a glucose carbohydrate broth and yet a negative reaction in a glucose use me
Semmy [17]

Answer:

Option B is correct.

Explanation:

Carbohydrate fermentation test; its main purpose is to know if a bacteria can ferment a specific carbohydrate or not. The test can be used for distinguishing bacterial species.

When fermentation of carbohydrate occurs, gaseous acids are produced. This production of the acid lower the pH of the medium undergoing the test, which can be detected by the color change of the pH indicator.

The Color changes only when sufficient amount of acid is produced. Phenol red can easily detect single acid production but METHYL RED NEED MORE ACID.
