Explanation:

Your essay could be this way;

 Essay: Courtesy costs nothing, but buys everything

What comes to mind when you hear the word courtesy? ..well for many people, courtesy is kindness, for others it is an act of good education and respect for others, but what we can be sure of is that courtesy is a good habit or the best way that can exist to change the world, but why do we say this?

Courtesy can awaken other good feelings or qualities, even an act of courtesy can change the course of an argument or a misunderstanding; If the people around you are not generous or kind, with a smile or a good action that you do, you can make that person calm down or respond in a kind or courteous way.

Courtesy costs nothing, but it does do a lot of good, not only for the person who expresses it, but for those who receive it; Courtesy is contagious, so be nice, be polite, give a smile, those are some ways to show love and empathy for people and to make him better and better.

A group in the back started fanning themselves and singing the song "Heatwave,” making everyone laugh and sing along.
kow [346]

The author conveys the joy in the excerpt given above through the use of ALLUSION.

Allusion is a figure of speech, in which an individual indirectly refer to an object or a situation from an external context; allusion usually refers to a story, object, person or event that is well known in order to make readers to make comparisons in their minds. For instance, a writer can make an allusion to the story of David and Goliath in order to establish his belief that an unlikely person may end up wining a particular fight.
