Answer:

The purpose of Sherman's March to the Sea was to frighten Georgia's civilian population into abandoning the Confederate cause. Sherman's soldiers did not destroy any of the towns in their path, but they stole food and livestock and burned the houses and barns of people who tried to fight back.

Why did the invasion of Poland have a significant effect on World War II?
Margarita [4]

Answer:

The invasion of Poland marked the start of World War 2. Britain and France were not convinced that it was a defensive war and it all began world war 2. Poland was also divided between the USSR and Germany so the Western Allies saw that their tactic of starving Germany of resources would be impossible since the USSR continued to supply the Germans at that stage of the war. New tactics and technology were tested in Poland and those same tactics will later be even more developed against France.

why are the miranda warning, the sixth amendment and the fifth amendment so important when someone is arrested
Trava [24]
The miranda Warning is an issue warning people that they have the right to remain silent, so they cannot be further prosecuted until in court.  The sixth amendment is the right to a fair and speedy trial, and the fifth amendment maintains innocence until proven guilty, and also the right to not be held guilty for an unjust charge.
These are all important because they represent basic American rights that are extended to all citizens, and are a major part of the United States' justice system
