Since we need to find the volume, and we are trying to find the volume of a cube, you would take the length, 6in. and cube it, or 6 x 6 x 6.
 6x6x6=216in^3.
The closest to this size that isn't under it is Box C at 343 in^3.
While Box B is closer in size, it is too small to fit the gift.

Which statements describe a parabola? Check all that apply. A parabola is the set of all points equidistant from the directrix a
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

A parabola is the set of all points equidistant from the directrix and focus.

The line of symmetry intersects the focus and directrix

The line of symmetry and the directrix are perpendicular

Step-by-step explanation:

A parabola is the set of all points in a plane that are equidistant from a fixed point (focus) and a line (directrix).

The fixed line of a parabola is known as the directrix of the parabola.

The line of symmetry is a line that passes through the focus and is perpendicular to the directrix. The line of symmetry divides the parabola.

The directrix of a parabola does not intersect touch the parabola

In ΔMNO, m = 780 inches, o = 760 inches and ∠O=164°. Find all possible values of ∠M, to the nearest degree.
Mademuasel [1]

Answer:

So the answer is both

180 and 328 (but it may or may not show you "not possible, if so, then you got it right)

Step-by-step explanation:

SinA/a= SinB/b

1. SinM/780 = Sin164/760

2. 780sin164/760 = 0.2828909704

3. M = sin^-1 (0.2828909704)= 16.4328229 or 16

Check for possibility

180-16= 164

164 + 16= 180 (not possible)

164 + 164= 328 (not possible)

Solve the following system of equations: −2x + y = 1 −4x + y = −1
Liula [17]
Hello!

-2x + y = 1
-4x + y = -1

You can subtract these equations from each other to eliminate y

2x = 2

Divide both sides by 2

x = 1

Put this into one of the original equations

-2(1) + y = 1

Combine like terms

-2 + y = 1

Add 2 to both sides

y = 3

The answer is D) (1, 3)

Hope this helps!
