A person was found lying face down in the woods. Lividity had set in on his back and buttocks, and there was a white line encircling his left wrist. When the skin was pressed the color did not change. Based on the information, how long has the person been dead? What caused the white line in his left wrist?

For all blood to stop circulating, obviously there’s no oxygen left for the cells to go anywhere. So roughly 24 hours after a death this will occur. If it were to be longer, the body would be decomposing and changing colors in the skin
